The visit focuses on the reported heating fault. The problem may involve the heater, water circulation or a control command. We explain the findings and provide a written estimate before repair work is approved.
If a new heater is needed, the proposal should address compatibility and installation requirements. Any additional gas, electrical or refrigerant work must be identified in the scope.
Questions before you book
Is the price different for a gas heater and a heat pump?
The diagnostic fee is $275 for either. If the outcome is a repair, $75 is credited toward that repair. If a new heater is needed, $275 is credited toward the new heater.
Does an error code tell me which part to buy?
An error code gives a starting point for diagnosis. It does not always establish a failed component, so save a photo of the message rather than ordering a part on that information alone.
Can you guarantee a repair during the diagnostic visit?
No. The outcome depends on the fault, available parts and approved scope. We confirm the next step after diagnosis.
